Last updated: 26 June 2026
1. Introduction and acceptance
These terms and conditions, together with our privacy notice, govern your use of the Noise Cancelling website, subscriptions, content and related services available through noisecancelling.co.
Noise Cancelling is operated by Noise Cancelling Ltd. References to "Noise Cancelling", "we", "us" and "our" mean Noise Cancelling Ltd. References to "you" mean the person accessing or using the service.
By accessing the website, creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, you should not use the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
2. Using Noise Cancelling
You must be at least 18 years old to use Noise Cancelling. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Accounts registered with another person's email address, invalid addresses or temporary email services may be closed without notice. We may ask you to re-validate your account if we suspect the address is not valid.
You may not use Noise Cancelling for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
3. Nature of the service
Noise Cancelling is an editorial publication. The material we publish is general information, analysis and opinion. It is not tailored to your personal circumstances.
Noise Cancelling is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or any equivalent regulatory body. We do not provide regulated financial services.
Nothing on the service is financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice. Nothing should be treated as a personal recommendation, offer, solicitation, endorsement or instruction to buy, sell or hold any security, financial product or investment.
You are solely responsible for your own decisions. You should take independent professional advice where appropriate before making decisions about money, tax, legal matters or investments.
Noise Cancelling, its contributors, directors, employees or people connected with them may hold, buy or sell securities or other financial instruments mentioned in our content.
4. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation
Noise Cancelling may offer free and paid access. Subscription prices, billing periods and included features are shown before you buy and may change from time to time.
- You must provide accurate registration and billing information.
- You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for the fees due.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
If a payment fails, we may suspend or end your paid access until the issue is resolved.
You can cancel your subscription through your account area. If you cancel, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for part-used billing periods unless required by law.
If you are a UK or EU consumer, you may have a 14-day cooling-off right. By choosing to access subscriber-only content immediately after payment, you acknowledge that this right may be lost once access begins.
5. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Amounts already paid are non-refundable unless these terms or applicable law say otherwise.
We may suspend or terminate your access, close your account or cancel your subscription if you breach these terms, fail to pay, misuse the service, compromise security, break the law or if we are required to do so by a legal or regulatory authority.
We may also suspend access for operational, security or technical reasons, or end accounts at our discretion where we have a legitimate reason to do so.
6. Content licence and restrictions
You may print or download limited extracts from Noise Cancelling for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not alter the material and you keep all copyright, trade mark and attribution notices intact.
You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, licence, scrape, train systems on, create derivative works from or otherwise exploit our content without our prior written permission.
If you use our content in breach of these terms, your right to use the service will end immediately and you must, at our option, delete, return or destroy any copies you have made.
7. Data, sources and accuracy
Noise Cancelling may include market data, company information and other material from third-party providers. Those providers may impose their own terms and restrictions.
We work to keep information accurate and timely, but we do not guarantee that any data, prices, figures, dates, classifications or commentary will be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free.
Data may be delayed, corrected, revised or unavailable. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
8. Features and availability
We may add, change or remove content, features, formats and services at any time. Some features may be released in preview form and may be incomplete, unstable or changed without notice.
We may suspend the website or parts of the service for maintenance, upgrades, security work or technical reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9. Acceptable use
You must use Noise Cancelling lawfully, responsibly and in accordance with these terms.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
- Do not reverse-engineer, interfere with, overload or disrupt the service.
- Do not harvest, scrape or bulk-download content or data.
- Do not upload, publish or distribute unlawful, harmful, misleading or infringing material.
- Do not use the service to advise clients or others without our prior written consent.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have breached these acceptable-use rules.
10. Intellectual property
All rights in Noise Cancelling, including the website, software, design, trade marks, logos, articles, audio, video, graphics and other materials, belong to us or our licensors.
You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noise Cancelling and its affiliates are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service.
Our total aggregate liability for claims arising under or in connection with these terms is limited to the subscription fees you paid to Noise Cancelling in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
12. Links and third-party content
The service may include links to third-party websites or third-party content. These are provided for information or convenience only.
We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, policies or terms. Accessing them is at your own risk.
13. Linking to Noise Cancelling
You may link to our homepage or publicly available pages in a fair and legal way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association, approval or endorsement that does not exist.
You must not frame, mirror, scrape or reproduce the website or any substantial part of it on another service without our prior written permission.
14. General terms
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in force.
A failure or delay in enforcing any right under these terms does not waive that right.
These terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between you and Noise Cancelling.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform an obligation caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We handle personal information in accordance with our privacy notice.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to help@noisecancelling.co.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by email or a notice on the service. Continuing to use Noise Cancelling after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
