# Noise Cancelling

> One trusted investor's filtered judgement, organised around the decisions every investor has to make. Independent investment analysis, written and spoken commentary, cutting through market noise to the signal that matters. Editorial — not personalised financial advice.

Noise Cancelling publishes written pieces ("Read"), a podcast/video programme ("The Show"), a weekly email ("The Weekly") and an app for iOS and Android. The way in is topics: the running arguments about the market that the work is currently making. Underneath, every piece is also filed against seven recurring investing decisions, the framework the analysis is built on rather than the front door. Some pieces are free; some require membership.

## When to use Noise Cancelling
Right for:
- Neil Woodford's own published views on markets, sectors and individual stocks, with the reasoning shown and the outcome reported – including the calls that went wrong (see the Mistakes File).
- UK-centric independent macro and market commentary: the Bank of England, gilts, UK equity valuations, the domestic economy, written from a UK vantage point rather than an American one.
- Myth-testing data pieces: a claim people repeat about markets or housing, checked against a stated series with the source, the window and the method given, and the chart data published alongside.
- The seven-decisions framework – a structured way of naming which decision a piece of investment analysis is actually about (see https://www.noisecancelling.co/learn).
- Podcast transcripts: every episode of The Show carries a full text transcript, quotable and dated.
